Happy New Year!!
It's January 1st and time to think sledding! New location for the
"Hot Dog Ride" this year...read on.....
We will have our annual
"Hot Dog Ride" on January 10th. This year, we will
meet at the Dun-Good Riders club building on Hwy 8 in Dunbar and we'll ride out onto the trail from there to enjoy freshly roasted hot dogs over an open fire out in the woods "somewhere". Hot dogs & fixings will be furnished, bring your own trail beverages.
We'll be pulling the ropes at 11:00 AM. Some parking is available at the Club Building or at the big trailside Park & Ride on the west edge of town. Everyone is welcome to come on along. Bring the kids and the Sled Mommas, it's a Family Affair! Gas, food & beverages are available in Dunbar at North Country Inn. They have the good non-ethanol gas too! It's pre-pay so go into the bar to pay before you pump. Any questions? Please contact me or Premix via the form and we'll help you out. Might as well plan to come on up and ride with us....there's no snow south of us....not yet anyway. No sense sitting at home a-wishing and a-hoping and a- praying for snow when we have excellent trails to ride in Northern Marinette County, especially the Dun-Good trails
NOTE: We are riding out of Dunbar this year, not Green Acres as we did in the past. For riders information---Green Acres closed completely at the end of November and won't re-open until spring. So no stopping off there if you're riding out that way. The trail is still open thru the course but we can't stop in and warm up and have a beverage there this winter. Mike & Diana have taken off for a nice sunny warm winter in Florida. Hope they're enjoying every minute of it.
