The NEWLBVR entries in the Pembine parade on Sunday were GREAT!! 

We combined our efforts with the Dun-Good Riders and it turned out really well. It may not have been the prettiest or the most professional entry but we sure had a good turn out of people to participate! We had all ages from kids -adults -  older adults - riding along, tossing candy to the folks along the way, waving and showing our club spirit. We had a big trailer loaded with several vintage sleds on display. That gave some of us a nice comfortable place to ride. 

Thanks to all for helping! John & Jan for taking care of the candy, helping set up, bringing a sled to display and your enthusiasm as we rode thru town!
Thanks to Jeff & Brenda for the sled, all of your help making this all work and for driving one of the Dun-Good groomer tractors (I bet that was a miserable job!! Haha!) To Joe Stoll for riding along, all dressed up in that white furry suit. That must have been HOT! Better save that one for this winter, Joe! And to Bob & Sue for helping, for the sled to display, for driving the other tractor and especially for bringing your family! It was so nice to have some young kids along for this event! And everybody got into tossing that candy!  People seemed to get a kick out of Pat riding "Billy" down the road! It wasn't looking like that was going to work out but Pat went back to the building later on Sat. night and got it taken care of and it ran great. It was a hoot!

Everywhere we've been since the parade we keep hearing, "I saw you in the parade! Good job!" And people are showing us pictures and videos they took. I hope Jeff & Brenda will share the pictures she took. I'll have some of ours posted later today (maybe  I don't have good luck with that  )

I think it turned out OK. We had fun, supported the community and  made people smile. That's what it's all about! Good job by all and.....
