3rd annual "Sick Day 100"
« on: November 07, 2015, 10:13:00 PM »
Planning well in advance this season elsewise time has a tendency to get away on you. :banghead:
Our 3rd try at the "Sick Day 100" is set for Wednesday, January 20th.  How will you feel that day? :-\ >:D

The plan for this loop is to start off at the Ranger City Rider's "Park & Ride" club shed parking lot right on the trail in down town Amberg. If you come early enough you can catch breakfast at the Amberg Café and get any fuel or supplies you need at the Driftwood Sport & Fuel only a couple blocks away and accessable by snowmobile.

The travel plan is to leave town at 9:00 am sharp. We'll take Trail Corridor 3 south towards Athelstane, then head east until we connect to Trail Corridor 5 north to Dunbar where we can have our lunch stop at the North Country Inn.  There is gas there as well so we can fill up our sleds. After lunch we will find Trail Corridor 16 east until we get back on Corridor 3 and head south to Pembine and then further south until we find ourselves back to our trucks and trailers in Amberg!

This route should be approximately an 85 mile loop of scenic Marinette County Forest land trails maintained and groomed by Ranger City Riders, Near North Trail Riders, Dun-Good Riders, and Pemenee River Riders' Snowmobile/ATV/UTV clubs.  :thumb:

Mark your calendars and hope to see you at the Show & Swap Dec.5th.  :rocker:

Please notice the date change as stated on the HOME page! We need to move the SICK DAY 100 RIDE from Jan. 20th. to Jan. 27th. hope this not a major inconvience. ??? We just want to take our best shot at having the trails as good as we can. The Amberg area trails are not even open yet,  :banghead: but hopefully that will change soon!  :thankyou:
