My wife had such a great time on the pinch and she really liked her new title "Stingerette", I have to build her a nice sled to ride for next year.   Tearing her down  :clapping:Need to freshen up the CCW

Gotta love the metalflake! One of the things that drew me to Scorpions is their use of metalflake from 71 to 75.  :rocker:

I haven't done much with the old girl, just found some new (1972) emblems.

Well it's been awhile since I started this project , it took a lot of searching for good replacement parts.

This is about 7pm friday night, I had to have her on the trailer by 7am sat morning.

The skis were pretty far gone, good thing I had a new set in storage.

No new parts here, just elbow grease. Cleaned up nice.

You can see the "new" skis in this one. The new emblems went on easy.

Heres the finished sled, I worked on it until midnight fri and was up at 4 to finish it up.

All the work paid off, we took home best of show original with her. Thank you to everyone who voted for her! :rocker:

Who could resist the pink metal flake?  The sun hitting on that thing drew me to it like a moth on a bug light!
