Another Stolen Super Sled

On the home page of the Web Site, I put a picture of a sled that was taken from outside The Pines on Crooked Lake. There is a $5,000 reward. This is not the first time this happened in this area this winter and it's becoming a big problem all over. I posted the picture not only to try to help track down these low lifes but also as a warning to let you know what's going on out there. I guess you have to keep a close eye on your super sleds whenever you stop any place.... We were just at The Pines on Feb 23rd......good thing they left our vintage iron alone.... 

On another note: yes we have had a lot of rain. It has stopped right now but we are supposed to get snow and the last I looked we are in the 5-10 inch range. We'll keep you updated because if all goes well, we could get in some more riding before it's over. After all, what says Happy St Patrick's Day in Wisconsin better than sledd'en to get your green beer

More strange news on stolen sled. Steal one, use it for awhile, steal another sled a few weeks later and leave stolen sled #1 in it's place??? Please see more info on home page of web site.

I just found out the sled that was stolen from outside The Pines on Crooked Lake has been recovered, "a few miles west of Crivitz". Good news! I don't know what condition the sled is in, but the guy seemed very happy to have it back. Personally, I never thought he'd find it, let alone in one piece. Hope they got the guilty party and that they are punished. Thanks to any of you who shared this information.

And, by the way, as I said on the home page----THE TRAILS ARE AWESOME! They say some snow coming for today & tonight (1-2 inches), enough to top off the trails and put a little covering on the road routes and in the sunny areas. They said the high of 31 this morning is as high as it probably will get for the next week or so. And, a storm is coming in for Monday....I'm wondering about this one because no body is saying much except that it could be a big one. We shall wait and see and let you know the conditions, but right now all I can tell you is
