Went to check out the SRX today at the World Snowmobile Headquarters Museum in Eagle River. I plan to only be there 10 minutes, one hour later I took a couple pics of my sled.

It is a great place for vintage enthusiasts such as ourselves. It feels good to have a sled displayed there.

One of my favorite things about the WSH is anybody can display a sled there. You don't have to be a vintage celebrity and your sled doesn't have to be anything rare or particularly special.

We have a prime oppurtunity to display our sleds, promote our clubs and vintage snowmobiling in general.

The Milwaukee Show is Oct.15,16,17 at the Wisconsin Exposition Center in West Allis.
(we will need to know if there interest in participation by Sept. 15th.)

The Green Bay Show is Nov. 12,13 at the Shopko Hall.

If you have interest in displaying your vintage sled at one of these events and help spending time maning the booth. Please contact me via this forum, email, or give me a call.

This is the sled that will be donating most if its vital organs.  Sad

It is a 78 Enticer 250 (wrong hood) that Amanda and I vintage raced the winter of 2007 at the Rhinelander circuit. Since then its just been used a little for boondocking.

Motor and entire drivetrain will be transplanted to the 81.  Beer

I have been scratching away at this restoration as much as I could this summer. I actually started this project 10 years ago.  Bang Head Not that I have been working on it for 10 years straight. It just always seemed to take a rather low priority to other sleds.  Dunno

But NO more! Today I fired up the motor. First time this motor has ran in probably at least 20 years or more. It needs tuning, but it gonna come together for the upcoming season. Thumbs Up
