Dunbar-Goodman Brat Fry Ride

Sounds like temps will moderate a little and riding will be more enjoyable this week end. Hope so anyway! The Dunbar-Goodman brat fry ride is this Saturday, Feb 1st, leaving from the Dun-Good Riders club building at 11 am. We'll go to 8-HI in Goodman for the brat fry. The return ride will be via the same trail or the longer northern trail, up past the Shrine and back to Dunbar....it's your choice! All the details are under the Calendar of Events, were in the newsletter or are listed on the left side bar on the Home Page of the web site. Always check the web site for official club news and updates. We also use the forum and the Face Book page but the Web Site is officiall  www.newlowbuckvintageriders.com

Sounds like there will be a couple inches of fresh snow for the ride on Saturday! Things are looking better all the time! 

Remember the brat fry is an annual fundraiser hosted by Kevin Rocque and friends at 8-HI with all proceeds going toward the maintenance of the Dun-Good trail system. Let's show our support for their outstanding trail system and buy a few brats and some raffle tickets too! Thanks in advance for your support! You can get to the brat fry at 8-HI by sled, (vintage or super sled) by atv, utv or car. It's all inside the bar so no reason to not come along or meet us there if you go by car. Sharing the trail report from the Dun-Good trails that we'll be riding on Saturday. This snow had more moisture in it so it groomed up really well. Then it got cold and set up solid, smooth and fast. Be careful, of course! Premix groomed all night last night and said it's really great out there! Temps should be a little more enjoyable too. It's all good. Looking forward to a nice outing on Saturday  for the Brat Fry! 

JANUARY 31, 2014 ---- We got at least 5 1/2 inches of nice fresh snow from yesterday's storm, on top of what were all ready excellent trail conditions! Don't get off the trail! You'll be surprised and stuck! I'd say we have easily 2 feet of snow in most areas. This is the BEST riding in a long time. Temps will moderate. Sun will shine. Snow will last. Trails are groomed. Why would anyone put off riding when everything is falling right into place?! It's a snowmobiler's dream come true. (Atv'ers too). Let's Ride!

A real nice day riding to the Brat Fry and visiting St, Hurbert's shrine. The trails were so nice 43 miles went by effortlessly and no sled issues.
